EMC, which has been in operation since 1979, will be acquired by Dell in 2016, and since then all its subsidiaries such as VMware and Pivotal have been operating as DellEMC subsidiaries. The company specializes in providing services such as data storage, information security, virtualization, analytics and cloud computing that enable organizations to store, manage, protect and analyze data. The company's products have various models, but the most popular product is DellEMC’s storage.
